It was pretty lousy weather but we still managed to have a good time. We had 19  riders on the Poker Run/Geocache Ride & we raised $207.00 for "Cloth the Kids".

THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR YOUR DONATIONS!!! The winning hand was a full house 10's over Aces by Virg Dittes. The 2nd place hand Full House 7's over 10's was held by Bob Hanson & the "Booby Prize" went to Ed Goss with an Ace high. Even with the bad weather everyone still managed to locate most of the Geocaches with over 6 people finding ALL of them. We also had Bull Elk, deer, turkey & Mt Lion sightings along the trail. I'd like to thank Curt & Mikki Maxwell for hosting the Geocache Ride on Sunday-we all had fun &  found all 4!!  We did cheat a little bit by using nice WARM & HEATED 4x4's. Thanks everyone for making this a very successful weekend ride!!!! If anyone took pictures please post them.

What a fun week end.  Loved it and learned a lot about GPS' plus got new folks involved.  Got to see some wild life I had never ever got such a good look at in the Blk Hills Before. Would love to have one mounted to go along with my bear.

Sunday's Geocache ride will take in some historic sights near Deerfield Lake including where the Custer Expedition camped, the bluff from which Custer Expedition photographer W.H. Illingworth took his famous "String of Pearls" photo and an old fire tower site with a fantastic 360 degree panoramic view!
