Brent Ostwald said… sorry you won't make the parade in Silver Bay. you really shouldn't need traction from riding a cushy grizzly or RZR.
Bill Henke said… Bob, do you realize I had to give up the golden (T) to Jim D. after he stood his machine on end and held it verticle while tryng to get a dog off the lease than had been in the box behind him. So I will be driving very carfully to avoid the award.
Brent Ostwald said… I see you posted the world's largest atv parade in Silver Bay, Mn on the website. Are you planning on being there, Bob? Do you have friends there in Mn.? Don't know if I have met you before, don't believe so. Ed Goss is a friend and Teri Sutton helped us set up our Fat Trax website here in Mn. If you get a chance, send me an email at bostwald@hotmail.com for more info on the parade. We're looking to get 2,012 riders in 2012! UTV's can ride but are not counted for the Guiness World Record. Say Hi to Ed & Teri for me. Talked with Larry Kaiser from Nemo Mercantile couple weeks ago. That should go well for him. Brent Ostwald

Hi Bob, we have a cabin booked - "Tuck Away Cabin" near Terry Peak Lodge. We are arriving July 15 and leaving July 21. Looking forward to meeting anyone from your area who would like to ride with us and fill us with history of your area. We just need to purchase whatever trail passes. Can we get them from any store or gas station?

Thank you so much for getting back to me. We had a bit of a cold snap so our tomatoes would be hard as bocci balls and our pools, well, skating rinks!! LOL!!! We are looking for information of camping/lodging, hoping to find somewhere we can ride from our place of stay, I read on the website we would need the $20 pass and wonder if this can be obtained from where we are staying or possibly purchased before hand. Are there folks in your club who would be willing to join us and give us the history of the area? How well marked are the trails? I am sure at our AGM in March we will have a date picked out of when this trip will be planned for. Are there any GPS tracks we could download into our own GPS'? Lots of questions I know, just want to get all our eggs in a basket before heading your way. Look forward to speaking more with you. Eastman ATV Association also has a website and you can see who we are and what we are about as well.

I CAN NOT EMPHASIZE ENOUGHH on how important it is that the A T V / U T V WORLD get ORGANIZED and be one united force that the movers and shakers will tend to listen to.
The best way to keep what we have for trails is to get involved - don't wait for the other guy or gal - you do it - and do it now - your sport needs your HELP! By meeting and interacting with other ATVer's you'll get the inside scoop on all the best trails, routes, and the best places to eat and…
