From our friends at the ARRA (Americans for Responsible Recreational Access)
This only takes a couple of minutes and we all know that the more riding areas that are closed the easier it is to close the next one.

September 4th through 9th the Apache County ATV Rough Riders held their 9th annual Arizona Outlaw Trail ATV Jamboree. We had approx. 200 paid riders from all over the Southwest US. One could take their pick out of 18 different rides and ride a different one each of the 3 days. It all started Tuesday with a hot dog and ice cream social and then the rides started early Wednesday morning. Rides ranged from 30 mile to over 100 miles. One of the rides was an over nighter that totaled over…Continue
Woody reports that he had a meeting with Supt. Gordon Baker regarding the development of an ATV trail system in the tribal areas of the Badlands. He says Baker is all for it and wants to get the trails up and marked ASAP. The tribe might issue an annual pass for a nominal fee which would go toward maintaining the trail system.
All...I am planning a Black Hills (Nemo area) and Farmingdale ATV trip May 18th - May 21st. I would like to invite all of you, if your schedule allows.. I would really like to meet everyone. My plan is to arrive at Farmingdale around noon on Friday 5/18...and ride there that afternoon. Then ride out of Nemo on Sat and Sun....or any other place you might suggest. Let me know if you can join me.
I heard several complaints about the cost of the BH permits...which...I dont mind paying...if...they use this money to maintain designated trails and open new ones. Unfortunately....the trails around Nemo last fall where terrible. I went in the spring and fall...and you could really tell how bad the trails got thru the summer. I dont mind a rough trail...but if I am giving money to the Forest Service...I hope they provide some service. We need to keep the pressure on them to open and…Continue

The Let's Ride ATV/UTV Club, formerly of Keystone and Hill City, has voted to remove Keystone from it's name. It will now be known as the Let's Ride ATV/UTV Club of Hill City.
The general membership, at a meeting on March 3rd, unanimously voted to pull out of Keystone entirely and will no longer participate in any Keystone events. The club's Holy Terror Day events have been rescheduled to September 15th, and are tentatively planned to take place in the Nemo area.
